ABOUT ICAN                                                                          

ICAN Housing Solutions helps persons with psychiatric disabilities obtain housing in order to live independently and advance in their personal recovery. The agency's goal is to develop permanent supportive housing for persons with mental disabilities to end their homelessness.

ICAN's Outreach Department helps consumers obtain the essentials of life, including food, shelter, clothing, emergency loans while linking them to community mental health and social services.

ICAN’s Housing Departments include Property Management, Maintenance and Development. ICAN owns and operates 119 rental units as well as provides various rent subsidy programs. Tenant rents including utilities are capped at 40% of household income.

Housing Support Specialists assist residents to maintain and retain their homes. Additional recovery supports include a drop in center, transportation and partnerships with existing vocational programs.
