APPLICATIONS                                                                     

Effective February 1, 2011

ICAN has made dramatic improvements to our application process. Provider agencies should refer to these simple steps when applying for all ICAN Housing Programs:

Obtain an Affordable Housing Application

Note: Basic Accommodations will still need to have the full program application submitted before an individual enters this program.

2. After ensuring that this application is complete and signed by the appropriate individuals the application should be returned to ICAN via mail or directly to our office

3.  ICAN’s Property Management team will review applications on a weekly basis and support providers can expect to receive notification of preliminary eligibility within 7-10 business days of submission.

4.  Applicants will be placed on multiple waiting lists based on specific eligibly requirements for each housing program at ICAN.

5.  When a housing voucher becomes available, the support provider will be notified and will be required to complete an intake packet for the applicant.
